The Big Fuzz is a muff circuit, which has been made to factor all of my favourite elements from the many various models. Further, some modifications have been made to improve the tone and playability of the pedal.
The classic design varied greatly over the years, being made in various locations, to different schematics, and ever-changing component values. One large reason I suspect some models are still higher favoured now, is for their differing amount of mid-scoop. This is a famous love-hate element of the circuit. Having a variable mids tone knob is incredibly helpful.
This is a small form factor box - the same size footprint as a small MXR pedal.
Revisions: 2021 Adapted to a Hammond 1590BS enclosure to include top-mounted connections. Large 10mm bezeled LED was replaced for a clear lens. Internal DIP switch mods removed. Parts selections revised.
