The Fallout Cloud fuzz is one of ThorpyFX's most popular pedals, and for good reason! Designed to emulate that iconic Triangle-era style circuit, the Fallout Cloud produces classic '70s and '80s tones but offers more control thanks to its perfectly-voiced EQ ('treble' and 'bass' knobs) and wide-sweeping 'sustain' control — letting you achieve anything from silky-smooth gain through to complex doom distortion, all while maintaining the ability to cut through in a mix.

And that's why we are here, the change in the transistors keeps the fundamentals of the Fallout in place, the same flexibility, same strong EQ and at extremes of gain it maintains the same articulation. But at lower gain settings, it is a different beast entirely. Somehow the BC108 NOS transistor version is calmer at low gain settings. It has slightly more sag, and feels smoother under the fingers.
