NOBELS ODR- 30th Anniversary

CULT CLASSIC NOBELS ODR-1 GETS AN UPDATE

Over the decades key artists such as Jerry Donahue, Guthrie Trapp, Carl Verheyen, John Shanks, Tim Pierce, Robbie McIntosh, Clem Clempson, Micky Moody and countless other amazing players have made the ODR-1 Natural Overdrive part of their sonic arsenal. While all single coil guitarists as well as most humbucker users and even bassists love the clarity and versatility of the full sound of the ODR-1 some heavy humbucker players asked for the chance to reduce the sub-bass end.

NEW with 30th Edition

Now for the Anniversary Edition we have upgraded to a more versatile and convenient Bass Cut Pot. This model connects you with a significant chapter in Nobels legacy. This golden version is limited to 5000 units worldwide. Each pedal is numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity, a commemoritive sticker and a special plectrum.

Operation now is possible from 9V – 18V DC for more headroom, if you want it. The pointers on the knobs now are GitD Glow-in-the-Dark.

The ODR-1 has proved to be a favourite with pros, especially session players, as it works so effectively with guitars’ volume controls for on-the-fly tonal changes in songs. The pedal’s wide range is controlled by a SPECTRUM control tone pot. Turning the knob clockwise increases the bass and treble at the same time. Midrange stays untouched in either direction to offer transparency with a pinch of warmth.

Nobels ODR-1

Really good overdrive to distortion pedal, works great in front of a slightly broken up amp, I’ve mostly been using it as a recording tool and does the job extremely well. Very transparent.
The bass cut is useful to tighten up the tone on the fly, the pedal also works really well with the guitar controls.
Really good pedal!!

versatile

great sounding pedal. better then the bass switch model and mini version. 18 volt has more headroom and the bass cut dial makes it a very versatile sounding pedal... currently stacking all 3 ORD-1's...just the sounds i was hunting for...

Next Level Nobels ODR-1!

After playing the standard green ODR-1 for a couple of years it has become an integral part of my guitar sound and a must-have pedal. So I was excited to see the release of the 30th Anniversary model and it didn't disappoint! I love the addition of the bass cut control and the voicing is different to the standard ODR-1. I find that I can have the Standard dialed in for single coils and the Anniversary for humbuckers and it's a win/win! They also gain stack well together. The 30th Anniversary is definitely a winner!

Beautifully simple

Pedal is articulate interactive with guitar & amp , volume & tone controls. Simple and solid construction. Bass cut pot is a game changer for the ODR-1 adds versatility for single coils & humbuckers. This will stay on my board for a long time.
