Professional MKII in gold gloss
This Tone Bender replica has the traditional full sized MKII long circuit board originally made from around 1967.
Highly accurate replication of the vintage circuit with three carefully selected 1960’s glass OC75 germanium transistors and other new old stock components such as Iskra and Philips capacitors and carbon composition resistors.
In the past I used my own examples of original MKII Tone Benders to replicate the the exact sound of these units. Transistors require thorough testing within the circuit and tuning is exact to that of a vintage OC75 type MKII. Thick, juicy fuzz, aggressive but with bags of character and I have taken special care to make sure of an excellent signal to noise ratio.
True bypass via the Carling foot-switch.
Built in professionally made custom built heavy steel cases, they sit low and wide on the floor and are very robust.
Battery access is quick and easy via a Bulgin battery draw and the pedals come with rubber feet which can be removed if you wish to attach to a pedalboard. Once the feet are removed, you can use the supplied countersunk screws which screw in flush to the base.
This model is in professionally finished in gold gloss with a black screen print.
