I would like to begin by saying that this amp does not have dual channel switching, reverb or an effects loop. So what does it have? TONE! From the moment we turned this baby on we were immediately struck by how quiet this amp runs. The only extraneous noise comes from your guitar pickups and effects pedals.
The Arena 50 features:
- KT-66 power valves and 5751 preamp valves. 50 watts pure Class A/B power
- Dual voiced preamps DEEP and BRIGHT
- 0db LINE OUT for recording or live use
- A rectifier switch (NEW or OLD, The NEW setting being much cleaner and the OLD setting for a warmer tone.)
- Hand wound paper bobbin high temp transformers which adds to the vintage sound quality.
The amp features a 3 band EQ, presence, master volume for overall control, bright volume for the higher end of the preamp and a deep volume for the bottom end.
