The Dallas Boost is a type of boost that adds a layer of sweet distortion to one's guitar sound with a 'cutting edge' (great for soloing). If you're into blues or rock, this pedal can work wonders, with any good tube amp you may use it with. MJM added a bright and dark switch to make it adaptable with single coil pickups or humbuckers with great results.
Designed by MJM Guitar Fx to utilize the natural overdrive of your tube amplifier and boost that into more saturation. The MJM Dallas Boost is a very natural sounding boost pedal with a slight bit of grit for taking an already overdriven amp into full on lead saturation, or pushing an amp over the edge into overdrive. The Bright/Dark switch is perfect for matching up to humbuckers or single coils. The MJM Dallas Boost is perfect for cutting lead tones or crunchy rhythm for any style of music.
