The MHP EVELYN is a bit of a departure from your typical medium gain stompbox. At the core of the MHP EVELYN are fragments of Craig Anderton's Tube Sound Fuzz, which goes pretty far back into the history of stompers. The MHP EVELYN is a complete overhaul of the TSF circuit to the point where it is almost a complete deviation. This was achieved by building the foundation of the MHP EVELYN around DUAL DRIVE controls. They provide a flexible blending of EQ, timbre, and gain. Drive 1 is very bright and crisp, with plenty of gain and edge. Drive 2 is soft and subtle, with ample bass, but just enough gain to keep it from getting flubby or mushy. Blend them to your heart's content, to your specific tastes, as well as your specific guitar and amplifier. The MHP EVELYN also sounds fantastic into a dirty amp - it simply adds to the vibe to take it to another level. And it's a stacker's paradise - pair it up with another dirt box to get an entire pallete of new tones. Blue powdercoat finish.
