Did you know...
Empress Effects was created in 2005 by Steve Bragg. They aim to provide musicians with electronic devices that enhance their creativity; to build a reputation for creating original and exciting high-quality products that are reasonably priced. They are based in Ottawa, Canada's capital.
Steve's been messing with electronics since he was in high school. In 2004 he graduated from Queen's University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. His friends think he's a pretty big nerd; he likes to do FFTs by hand and he gets angry when Nyquist's sampling law is broken.
Empress Effects released their Tap Tempo Tremolo pedal in May 2006. It has features never before seen on a tremolo pedal. The Empress Superdelay was released on May 12, 2008. A couple other prototypes are being played around with. Top secret prototypes!
