The Cusack Tap-a-Whirl is the first analog tremolo pedal to feature a tap tempo. The Tap-a-Whirl includes 8 preset waveforms to choose from including saw wave, and sine wave. The Option knob has different functions depending on if the effect is bypassed or not. With the effect engaged it controls the speed of the tap tempo, with the effect bypassed it controls the ramp time of the effect level when it is engaged. The Tap Tempo switch also acts as a brake function to speed up or slow down the tremolo speed while you’re playing. Another great feature of the Cusack Tap-a-Whirl is a small switch on the back of the pedal that gives you three different banks of wave presets. This switch in conjunction with the Wave knob gives you up to 24 different wave shape presets to choose from.
The Cusack Tap-a-Whirl can attain sounds that you’ve never dreamed possible from a tremolo pedal. From a 1-4-5 count to a random waveform that never repeats the Cusack Tap-a-Whirl can bend your notes while it bends your mind. The Tap a Whirl is dead quiet and natural sounding. The Cusack relay true-bypass keeps your signal clean and pure and the warm, pulsing tremolo functions will excite even the most boring guitar licks. If you’ve been searching for a tremolo pedal that does a little more, check out the Cusack Music Tap-a-Whirl.
