The FIX’D FUZZ V3 is the hydra-headed dragon of handmade fuzz boxes/boosts/overdrives. Replete with two polar-opposite fuzz tones, a full-bodied boost through light overdrive and a (wide) tone sculpting stage. It delivers BIG diversity in sound – all in a SMALL footprint package designed specifically for the cramped pedalboard. All 4 stages of the circuit are bypassable via their respective toggles, meaning you can add/remove from the stack as your black heart desires. There are no differences between the Poppy and the Ant graphic versions. Same pedal, same circuit.
A four stage fuzz pedal that gives you the option of bypassing any stage in any order or running all four at once. The Bloom stage is a boost stage that will hammer the front of your amp like a drunken carpenter. Next is Fuz:1. This stage is a more vintage sounding fuzz circuit with an internal Gain control that can take this monster over the edge. Add the Bloom boost and Fuz:1 will tear your guitar amp to pieces (in a good way). Fuz:2 is a splatty, sputtery, octavey fuzz stage with an internal bias control. Mixed with the other stages it becomes a ferocious fuzz monster. With all four stages on, you might just lose a spouse or two. Last is the Shade switch. It engages the Shade knob, which is a powerfully interactive Tone control. From big and bloomy to scooped and crunchy, Shade will get you there. The Buzz knob is a master volume, struggling to contain the unholy maelstrom of fuzz boiling in its bowels.
